Approximately four hours flight time from the UK, Rhodes Town can be found at the northern tip of the Greek holiday island of Rhodes. Down on the harbour you will discover where one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World once stood. The Colossus of Rhodes was a large imposing bronze statue that straddled the harbour welcoming visitors and fishermen home. The exact spot where he stood is disputed but is thought to be marked by two deer statues now found at the entrance to the harbour.
Rhodes’ Old Town should top everyone’s list of must see activities. Here you can see many old buildings and feel the history of the area.
